  • After completing the BA programme, students will be able to:

    • Explain important concepts and developments in History, Political Science, Economics and Sociology.
    • Analyse historical events, political systems, economic issues and social problems using appropriate concepts and perspectives.
    • Demonstrate awareness of the Indian Constitution, democratic institutions, governance and civic responsibilities.
    • Understand the diversity of Indian society, culture and social institutions.
    • Apply critical thinking and analytical skills while interpreting contemporary issues.
    • Communicate effectively in Kannada and English through written and oral expression.
    • Use knowledge from the humanities and social sciences in academic, professional and community contexts.
