The RUBANK scheme supports deserving students whose families face difficulties meeting the cost of higher education. It brings together contributions from education well-wishers, donors, students, faculty members, parents, alumni and the public to help economically disadvantaged students continue their studies.Contributors are encouraged to set aside ₹1 a day—₹365 or more annually—for the fund. These contributions provide educational assistance to students in need and help reduce the financial pressure on their families.
The RU-Bank programme was held on Tuesday, 14 October 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Rajatha Auditorium of Tunga Mahavidyalaya. Donations collected during the academic year 2024–25 were distributed as financial assistance to 15 economically disadvantaged and meritorious students to support their education.

Access to a regular meal helps students maintain their well-being and concentrate on their studies.

The mentoring programme provides students with guidance throughout their college education. At the beginning of each academic year, each faculty mentor is assigned a group of 20 to 30 students.Mentors meet students each month to review their progress and discuss academic, personal or social difficulties. Parent–teacher meetings are organised every semester to discuss academic performance, attendance and overall development. They strengthen communication between families and the college.
