About the Department:
The Sociology Department Since it was established in 1967 has been serving the cause of the students’ community and helped to graduate thousands of students in the past and still continue to serve long years ahead.

Future Plans:
To strengthen the college by encouraging students to join the college in large numbers and also take up sociology as a subject for study. The department feels that this objective of future plan will be successful by encouraging a good study atmosphere among the students’ community and getting the support of the Alumni Association of the college and college management.
